Company History of Trizen Foods Co., Ltd.

  Founded in 1949 at Yoshitsuka Market, the company opened the restaurant "Torizen" in 1962. A poultry farm was established in Karatsu, Saga Prefecture in 1970. Torizen Foods Co., Ltd. was incorporated in March 1987, followed by the launch of the branded chicken "Kyushu-san Kawamicho" in 1988. The Torizen Poultry Cooperative commenced operations in 2002. In October 2015, Hidehiro Kawatsu assumed the position of President and Representative Director. The Itoshima Plant was completed in March 2018, and in May 2025, the company absorbed and merged Torizen Oceans Co., Ltd.
